Concerto Copenhagen’s new release reimagines Bach’s Organ Trio Sonatas as if they were brand new Brandenburg Concertos.

This bold experiment, described as “historically informed fiction,” has been led by oboist Antoine Torunczyk in close collaboration with the ensemble. The result is six dazzling concertos, deeply rooted in Bach’s own music – but voiced through a kaleidoscope of baroque colours: oboe da caccia, viola d’amore, viola pomposa, and more.
