Merry Christmas from all of us at Concerto Copenhagen!
This holiday season, we invite you to enjoy some of the most heartwarming Christmas music ever written.
Our album Per la Notte di Natale brings to life the unique 18th-century Italian tradition of instrumental Christmas concertos — filled with gently singing melodies and pastoral scenes evoking shepherds and animals gathered around the manger in Bethlehem.
Lars Ulrik Mortensen leads CoCo through music both familiar and rare – from Corelli’s beloved Christmas Concerto to the intimate, glowing soundscape of Locatelli’s lesser-known masterpiece.
